When Oscar Gramata was growing up in San Juan, Metro Manila, he was already selling longaniza and tocino, a "hobby" that financed his college education. By the time he came to the United States with his family in 1973, his hobby thrusted Oscar into a successful business which caters to the Filipino-American community that hungers for these Philippine delicacies.
"A friend asked me to make some longaniza for a party she was hosting. She got a lot of good comments about my food. She ended up telling a Filipino storeowner about my foods, where we sent a couple of dozen samples. They were all sold within that week", said Oscar Gramata.
Currently, Oscar Gramata is in-charge of the manufacturing and distribution of his products locally and nationwide. His products like longaniza, tocino, tapa, chicharon and lechon.
Oscar's Foods has served the community for over 20 years sharing the Filipino tradition of "great taste" and "quality".
